Emotions. Thoughts are the shadows of emotions. "You don't just start laughing — you must have thought of something. Likewise, you don't just start feeling sad — you must have thought of something." - me. Emotions are the object, thoughts are the shadows; emotions are the root cause, thoughts are the shadows; emotions are the root cause of thoughts that control people's behaviors. Most people think of emotions (in my opinion) as happiness, sadness and anger. I think they go way deeper. The Ancient Greeks and Stoics mostly call "positive emotions" virtues and call "negative emotions" emotions, but I think they are all just emotions. The voices (shadows) of hopelessness (emotion) sounds something like these: - "There's nothing left to do." - "I must be cursed." The voices (shadows) of gratitude (emotion) sounds like these: - "I'm grateful for the opportunity to be alive today." - "I'm grateful that both my parents are alive." The voices (shadows) of rejoice (emotion) sounds like these: - "I've so happy because I know tough times don't last." - "I'm so happy because in tough times, character is built." These are (positive) emotions: Love, Patience, Tolerance; even Truth I would add! These are also emotions: Hate, Regret, Greed, Irritation, Disdain, Contempt. We have the power to continually change our thoughts, that can then change our emotions, that can then change our behaviors. In the end, I think we should all surround ourselves with virtues as the Ancient Greeks and Stoics would call them.

Agreeing with King Solomon's "everything is meaningless", I think problems are (luckily) the only things that give life meaning. Not just problems in itself — but looking at it as an opportunity to grow, to evolve, to change; because that's what Nature is — Change. Like Marcus Aurelius would say, "What is it—this thing that now forces itself on my notice? What is it made up of? How long was it designed to last? And what qualities do I need to bring to bear on it—tranquillity, courage, honesty, trustworthiness, straightforwardness, independence or what?", I think, in any "problem", we should equip ourselves with the things necessary to overcome that problem. This is what I think Christians call "The full armor of God" — Ephesians 6:10-18. "Why then are we offended? Why do we complain? This is what we're here for." - SENECA

Introducing... Informed Spiritualism: Informed Spiritualism – A grounded approach to spirituality rooted in reason, historical insight, and a pursuit of truth. It values deep understanding over trend, and seeks clarity, not confusion. Love Christianity but don't wanna identify yourself as one (a Christian) because there's so much nuance and you see that modern-day Christianity has left off the original message? Informed Spiritualism might be for you lol. (Not limited to Christianity alone though.) — Who Qualifies To Identify As A Informed Spiritualist? Imo it's those who... - Have studied their entire religious text (e.g., Bible, Quran) deeply and critically. - Understands the historical context and evolution of their religion. - Acknowledges where tradition and original teachings may differ. - Questions doctrine when necessary, seeking truth over dogma. - Practices their faith with intention, not just routine. - Respects other belief systems but remains grounded in their own. - Values both spiritual and intellectual growth. - Seeks personal connection with the divine, not just institutional validation. - Open to mystery, but not enslaved to it. The opposite of this would be uninformed spiritualism: Uninformed Spiritualism – A shallow, often trend-driven belief system lacking foundation or structure. It tends to chase feelings, vague energies, or mysticism without accountability, clarity, or direction. Think angel numbers, crystal healing, etc.— that's uninformed spiritualism.

4 PILLARS OF LIFE 1. Personal life. 2. Work life. 3. Love life. 4. Spiritual life. - Personal life is your life without any romantic partners or anybody attached. It is your hobbies, things that you do as a person that you derive happiness from. - Work life a.k.a Career life. - Love life i.e. Your life with a romantic partner. Or as a couple. - Spiritual life a.k.a This is your life with God. Or a deity. These pillars are essential I think, for a fully happy life. Just like a table can function with two of its legs cut off, one's life can be fine with any two on this list. Three pillars not present can be fatal.

Imo, people get confused about their judgment of life and the world. Then again, I wouldn't blame them— your life is shaped by your unique experiences. It's just startling almost when I hear phrases like "This world is wicked", "Rich people are evil". Nope... 1. Your leaders are wicked. 2. The rich people you know are evil.

Noes – A Hypothetical Fifth State of Matter Overview: A Noe is a proposed fifth state of matter, comparable to solids, liquids, gases, and plasma. Inspired by the Greek word «Νόησης» (Noesis), meaning perception or understanding, Noes represent intangible yet impactful experiences—such as thoughts, emotions, and consciousness—that, while not directly physical, appear to carry weight and occupy mental or neurological “space.” Learning Objectives: - Review the four classical states of matter (Solid, liquid, gas, plasma). - Introduce Noes as a conceptual extension of matter theory. - Examine how current technologies (e.g., fMRI, EEG, hormone detection) relate to this speculative state. - Discuss the theoretical implications of treating consciousness and emotion as matter. Key Concepts: - Noe: A theoretical state of matter made up of perceptual and emotional experiences. - Garjun: A coined unit of measurement for Noes, inspired by volume units like "gallon," adapted to conceptual weight. - Detection: Drawing from tools like brain scans and chemical sensors to explore possible ways of measuring Noes. - Analogy: Ever heard the expression "That's a lot to handle?"— that's the basic idea; how can seemingly empty words hold weights? how come it's frowned upon to "deliver bad news" over the phone. As plasma was once unrecognized, Noes could represent the next frontier in understanding the universe and the mind. Discussion Points: - Could the brain’s response to stimuli (as seen in scans) be considered evidence of Noes? - If Noes exist, what ethical or scientific changes would this imply for mental health, law, or education? - What separates a speculative idea from scientific theory?

Seneca calls it philosophy, King Solomon calls it wisdom, but I think critical thinking is what truly saves lives.

"Train up a child in a way they should grow..." is a classic line by many Christian parents. Yet, most don't even qualify as coaches (to train their children) or as Christians.

Stop telling kids "If you lie, you'll go to hell." Tell them about the realistic consequences of lying— Liars are rarely consistent, lying is like digging a pit: the more you lie, the deeper you're dug in. Alas, most kids can't fathom what "realistic consequences" even means. Therefore, it is much easier to sell fear than teach truth.

Any man can impregnate a woman— that doesn't make them a father. It takes a father to love his home, love his child, go out of their own way for the child; not out of societal norms and expectations, but out of genuine love and care.
